I have been a photographer for many years. For so long, in fact, that I can no longer imagine my life without a camera to capture its special moments. It took me quite some time before I was able to connect myself to being an artist, because in my mind a photographer and an artist were two distinctly different things. While they were both creative, they used entirely different processes to achieve their artistic goals. We watch Swamp People on Cable, where the catch them. They get a limit they hunt during the season. Tough work, but Ive had Gator in a Restaurant, and enjoyed it.... Hate to see them piled up, prefer watching them in the wild. But, like the detail, its a darn good photo under the conditions.... Usually a crowd pushing to get a place to watch in these places :)

Thanks so much. Yes, I've had gator, too. Tastes like chicken, LOL! Went to one of my favorite nature spots the other day where there are a lot of them to see. It was so dry at that lake there weren't hardly any birds. Did get a few shots of a baby gator. I agree with you, there are wonderful to watch in the wild.
