We watch Swamp People on Cable, where the catch them. They get a limit they hunt during the season. Tough work, but Ive had Gator in a Restaurant, and enjoyed it.... Hate to see them piled up, prefer watching them in the wild. But, like the detail, its a darn good photo under the conditions.... Usually a crowd pushing to get a place to watch in these places :)

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thanks so much. Yes, I've had gator, too. Tastes like chicken, LOL! Went to one of my favorite nature spots the other day where there are a lot of them to see. It was so dry at that lake there weren't hardly any birds. Did get a few shots of a baby gator. I agree with you, there are wonderful to watch in the wild.

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thanks, Bob. Yes, they're kind of creepy. Wouldn't want them to tear into me. Appreciate the v/f/g.

While they were both creative, they used entirely different processes to achieve their artistic goals. Over time, however, I have recognized the remarkable similarities in the way that we look at visual elements such as composition, colors, lines, and light. I have come to understand that what constitutes fine art stands apart from whatever techniques that we artists use to ultimately reach that special place. My...
