Thank you, Mark. Yes, it was a little time-consuming as I did it by hand using just a touchpad on my laptop. One of these days, I'm going to get another Wacom tablet. Upgraded to new laptop and OS, now my old tablet won't play with it anymore.

The Black-eyed Susan is the state flower of Maryland. The scientific name for this simple beauty is Rudbeckia hirta (Asteraceae) and is a common American perennial wildflower. The flower has beautiful, bright yellow petals topping an upright, stiff, stem. This image has been selectively colored for black and white artistic affect.
