Artist's Description
Some time back, I received an email forward from someone with this beautiful, heart touching poem called The Rose Bud. I did research to find the author and was able to talk to Darryl Brown. He told me the beautiful story of how he came to write this poem in 1985. He was at the lowest point in his life having lost his wife, family and everything dear to him. He had lost all hope. Carolyn Marshall replied:
Thank you so much, George. The man who wrote this continues to draw on the strength in the words. It is humbling to me to realize just how fragile we are. Appreciate your f/v too.

Thank you, Gray. I am passing this information on to Darryl.

Absolutely, Everett. If we knew all the details as we went along, we wouldn't be able to handle it. In His infinite wisdom, He knows just how much we can handle and when.

As an added comment, I am sharing all proceeds from sales on this image with Darryl to go toward his ministry.

Thank you, Benanne. Darryl now uses his experiences to counsel others who have gone through similar situations. I'm sure he will appreciate the share.
