I have been a photographer for many years. For so long, in fact, that I can no longer imagine my life without a camera to capture its special moments. It took me quite some time before I was able to connect myself to being an artist, because in my mind a photographer and an artist were two distinctly different things. This is wonderful! I really like that you didn't clear out the stems and branches between the lens and the babies. I think a lot of photographers would have done that and it would have ruined the idea that you were stealing a peek into a spot where cameras normally don't get to go. Well done!
Carolyn Marshall replied:
Thank you so much for your kind comment, Deborah. Yes, I agree with you on the branches. It is a natural setting, and we were literally walking through nature happening before our eyes. There were places you could actually see them breaking through the eggs.
Carolyn Marshall
You and me both! Thanks.
