About Carolyn Marshall
I have been a photographer for many years. For so long, in fact, that I can no longer imagine my life without a camera to capture its special moments. It took me quite some time before I was able to connect myself to being an artist, because in my mind a photographer and an artist were two distinctly different things. While they were both creative, they used entirely different processes to achieve their artistic goals. This is wonderful! I really like that you didn't clear out the stems and branches between the lens and the babies. I think a lot of photographers would have done that and it would have ruined the idea that you were stealing a peek into a spot where cameras normally don't get to go. Well done!

Thank you so much for your kind comment, Deborah. Yes, I agree with you on the branches. It is a natural setting, and we were literally walking through nature happening before our eyes. There were places you could actually see them breaking through the eggs.
